What five areas is the campaign supporting?

  • Faculty and Staff Compensation
  • Downtown Facility Improvements
  • Endowment and Tuition Assistance
  • CAT Improvements
  • Catholic Central Fund
Investment

How much is being allocated for faculty and staff compensation and why?

$4 million

Rationale:

  • Increasing compensation is essential for CC to recruit and retain the best teachers. Veteran CC teachers earn less than 70% of teachers at public schools, a gap of over $20,000 per year.

Implementation:

  • Offer a significant, one-time boost for all faculty and staff in the ‘24-’25 school year.
  • Spread the remaining funds out over the next several years, at which point enrollment growth and larger tuition revenue will sustain increased salaries in perpetuity.
Investment

How much is being allocated for downtown facility improvements and why?

$4 million

Rationale:

  • Ensure CC is accessible to all students and positioned for enrollment growth.
  • Offer modern learning spaces that are most conducive to positive learning outcomes, collaboration, and mental and physical well-being of students and staff.

Implementation:

  • Updates to learning spaces, including new lighting, classroom furniture, and shared learning spaces and hubs.
Investment

How much is being allocated for endowment and tuition assistance and why?

 $3 million

Rationale:

  • Offer additional tuition assistance to more families so a CC education is affordable for families.

Implementation:

  • Bolster endowment which provides a reliable, perpetual source of tuition assistance.
Investment

How much is being allocated for CAT improvements and why?

$2.5 million

Rationale:

  • Tennis courts are over 20 years old, in disrepair, and need to be completely rebuilt.

Implementation:

  • Build eight post-tension concrete tennis courts, entryway arch, pavilion, and shade structures.
Investment

How much is being allocated for the Catholic Central Fund and why?

$1.5 million

Rationale:

  • Ensure that the Catholic Central Fund – the fund that supports tuition assistance, student programs, and teaching and learning initiatives – is not neglected during the campaign.

Implementation:

  • $500,000 per year allocated to CC Fund over the next three years.

What is tuition? What is the actual cost to educate each student?

  • Tuition for the 2023-2024 school year is $13,250. The actual cost to educate each student is $15,250.
  • CC now offers a variable tuition model. No longer ‘one-size-fits-all’ regarding tuition, CC allows families to apply for a reduced tuition rate that is based on their unique financial situation.
